This is a must read and, as a former volunteer myself, I can attest to what the author writes about. I often reconnect with the organizations I volunteered with; you can really make connections that last a lifetime.
- Volunteer Maryland-This is the official blog for Volunteer Maryland, and it contains great posts on the value of volunteering, specifically focusing on AmeriCorps. A good read if you are looking to go down that path.
- Trollwood Performing Arts School-If you are passionate about the performing arts, you should consider volunteering at Trollwood.
